I designed this dress for some incredibly funky 1830’s fabric from Reproduction Fabrics.  It is called Merchant’s Wife and is a very loud 1830’s print!  For the first wearing I accessorized with a lace pelerine; I have enough fabric to make a matching pelerine at some point in the future.  I made it over the Truly Victorian #455 Romantic Era Dress pattern.  Very happy with this dress!
