The gown is made from burgundy silk velvet, and it is trimmed with a complimentary brocade and antique gold passamentarie. The neckline is trimmed with dagging made from the same silk velvet.  The Old World Enterprises Ladies 1890 Ball Gown pattern is still available from James Country Mercantile, but I have to warn you it is a hard one to put together.  I did a lot of improvising.
